Hello, and thanks for checking out my website. I’ve been taking photos for over a decade now, and what started off as a fun past time somehow grew into a successful enterprise for me. While I’ve done photography of all genres, this website is specialized towards senior and family photography. Here you can view many examples of both types of photography—and note that by “families”, I include portraits of children in addition to family group shots. (You’ll also see a link to my weddings website if you were interested in bringing me in to capture your wedding day.)

If you’re looking to have personal, unique, quality photos of your senior as they prepare for graduation, or want to update your family portrait, don’t hesitate to reach out to me!

The Elders’ “Devil’s Tongue” video, featuring Olan

Here’s the latest video release we put out this morning of the Elder’s “Devil’s Tongue”. I’ve been friends with the band for a long time, shooting their publicity photos over the years. So I was excited when the singer Ian’s wife, Kansas City news personality Kathy Quinn, approached me last spring about filming a special performance of the…

Tyson Leslie: The Peer Interviews

Tyson Leslie: The Peer Interviews

In that video were several short clips of some of his peers that I interviewed this past spring during a special tribute to Prince that Tyson organized here in Kansas City at Knuckleheads. I decided to…

BPR Pic of the Day: “Marvel’s” SKIP GODLEY

Every once in a while you get a random inspiration to create an image that’s timely, relevant, humorous, and any number of other adjectives that make it inevitable you’ll make the time to bring it out of your brain and into real life. I’d been finishing up watching Marvel’s Luke Cage on Netflix, and as…

Watts of Love 2016

Watts of Love 2016

I’m looking forward to shooting this event tomorrow night for the second year in a row: Watts of Love at the Madrid Theater, a benefit to raise money to bring affordable lighting to some of the most impoverished areas around the world. People in poverty-stricken countries must spend an outrageous portion of what little income…

“Real” Books vs e-Books

I was initially surprised by this, but it actually makes sense and it’s encouraging to see at least one industry not becoming engulfed by the digital age. Book readers prefer to hold and flip through a real book instead of swiping pages on their tablet. http://www.providencejournal.com/news/20160921/mark-patinkin-kindles-may-come-and-go-but-books-are-forever
